About the Event

Sign up for both Series "Needle Felting 101: Tools and Building 3D Shapes" and "Exploring the World of Wool Fibers" and receive FREE 3 oz of local organic core wool.

Join us for an inspiring and hands-on workshop that unlocks the magic of needle felting!

In this workshop you will: 

- Gain a solid understanding of needle felting and the versatility of this crafting technique.

- Explore a variety of needle felting tools, including different types of needles, foam pads, and safety measures. Understand how each tool contributes to the felting process.

- Dive into the hands-on experience of building 3D shapes using needle felting techniques. Learn the step-by-step process of creating simple and intricate forms.

- Understand the art of layering wool fibers to achieve depth and detailing. Explore techniques for adding intricate features and textures to your 3D creations.

- Learn valuable tips for avoiding common mistakes in needle felting and discover effective methods for fixing errors.

Appropriate for beginners. Age: 8+ to adult. All supplies provided.

The workshop will take place in Portland, ME. The location address will be emailed to you a few days prior.

Registration closes 5 PM, THURSDAY, APRIL 4th. Late sign ups may be possible. Please email to to inquire.


If you cancel more than 30 days before the beginning of your workshop, you will be issued a credit in the amount of your workshop that can be applied toward a future class or felted items in Mia's shop. Cancellation with less than 30 days notice (other than for health reasons with a proof) will result in the forfeiture of your entire course fee. However, if your spot is filled, a credit will be issued in the amount of the workshop.

Mia Waisman and Fuzzy Lovies reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be notified, and reasonable efforts will be made to provide a full refund or reschedule the workshop.


By registering for and participating in the "Exploring the World of Wool Fibers" workshop hosted by Mia (Marina) Waisman of Fuzzy Lovies, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions:

-- Participating in the workshop involves various creative activities that may carry inherent risks. Participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with these activities.

- Some workshops may involve physical activity, such as standing, sitting, and manipulating materials. Participants should be aware of their physical limitations and participate at their own risk.

-- Participants release Mia (Marina) Waisman and Fuzzy Lovies, its organizers,  instructors, and affiliates from any liability for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during or as a result of the workshop.

-- Participants are required to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the workshop instructor. This includes proper use of tools, handling of materials, and adherence to any specific safety instructions.
